Jim Clarke’s focus on application and data integration started in 1996, when he co-founded Scribe Software with Peter Chase. The vision for Scribe came from years of working with CRM and ERP applications, where they found that lack of integration between business applications was one of the biggest reasons new applications failed to achieve user adoption and deliver on their promised benefits. 

By giving users easy access to critical information from other groups and systems from within the application they already use, adoption soars! Cross department business processes can only be fully automated when systems are connected. Scribe built a powerful platform, formed strong partnerships with business application vendors, and developed robust intelligent connectors that enabled the platform to talk with those applications. Thanks to Scribe, application integration became much easier than before!

Co-founder of Scribe Software Started Customer Sync

After more than a dozen years leading product management and development at Scribe, Jim left in 2009 to start Customer Sync.  Although the Scribe platform made the development process ten times more productive than before, data migration and application integration are still not simple tasks. Achieving successful outcomes requires expert knowledge of the tools, integration best practices, knowledge of the applications at the endpoints, and business process expertise. Scribe customer and partner teams often had expertise with one application, but needed help with the tools, best practices, and other applications involved. Customer Sync was founded as a consulting services organization staffed with only experienced integration experts (15+ years each) to fill this need. 

By working in close partnership with Scribe (now TIBCO® Scribe), Customer Sync has helped customers and the channel succeed for over ten years!

Jim Clarke,
Owner & Lead Consultant

Jim Clarke has over 30 years experience in the software industry focused on application integration, CRM, and ERP applications. He started his software career at SNAP Software in the mid 80s, where he led the development of the market leading CRM application for the mid-market, back in the prehistoric days of CRM.

After leaving and consulting for a few years, he co-founded Scribe Software in 1996 to tackle the challenges of integration between CRM, ERP, and other business applications. At Scribe, he led product development as CTO and VP of Engineering for over a dozen years.

Since leaving Scribe and starting Customer Sync, Jim has helped hundreds of Scribe customers and partners face the challenges of designing, building and supporting complex integrations between their business apps.

Ann Demencuk,
Senior Consultant

Ann Demencuk has over 25 years experience in various roles within the software industry, including quality assurance, product management, project management, technical support and most recently, consulting.

Prior to Customer Sync, Ann worked for Envista Corporation, WhippleHill Communications, and Scribe Software Corporation. During her 10 years at Scribe Software, she worked in QA and later as the Product Manager for Scribe Insight. Her strong background in various business applications and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Studies/Accounting make her an invaluable resource on integration projects.

Since joining Customer Sync in 2012, she has become the favorite go-to Scribe expert for dozens of customers and partners.
